About IISE
The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers is the world’s largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the industrial engineering profession and individuals involved with improving quality and productivity. Founded in 1948, IISE is an international, non-profit association that provides leadership for the application, education, training, research, and development of industrial engineering.
With more than 15,000 members and 280 chapters worldwide, IISE’s primary mission is to meet the ever-changing needs of its membership, which includes undergraduate and graduate students, engineering practitioners and consultants in all industries, engineering managers, and engineers in education, research, and government.

IISE UW-Madison Mission
IISE UW-Madison seeks to provide students with opportunities to develop lasting industrial, faculty and peer relationships. In addition, we aim to facilitate community involvement and to enhance educational programs across all disciplines within Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Madison community at large.
Policies
The UW-Madison branch of IISE abides by University policies and has taken measures to ensure that its members remain safe and engage in legal activities during all IISE sponsored events. The UW-Madison IISE branch's constitution, bylaws, and risk management plan are posted below for reference.
